About
A shared noticeboard for Jala
Jhigu Jala is a community-run site for Harisiddhi (Jala), Lalitpur, Nepal: notices from the ward office, what's coming up around town, photos, local services and stories - added to by the people who live here.
Who runs it
The site is run by the Jhigu Jala volunteer team. It isn't a government service or a business, and it doesn't carry advertising.
How content gets here
Anyone can submit a notice, share a photo, suggest a directory listing or write a story - no account needed. Every submission is reviewed by an editor before it appears on the site. Notices marked Official come from the ward office or another official body; everything else comes from the community.
