Terms of use
The ground rules for using Jhigu Jala. By using the site or submitting to it, you agree to these terms.

The site
Jhigu Jala is a free community site run by the Jhigu Jala volunteer team. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time.
What you submit
- You keep ownership of what you submit. You give Jhigu Jala permission to publish, display, resize and share it on the site and in links to the site.
- It must be yours to share. Only submit photos, text and videos you made or have permission to use.
- People in photos: you're confirming that the people clearly shown are happy to appear - and for children, that their parent or guardian is.
- It must follow the community guidelines.
- Don't use the site to break the law. Illegal material may be reported to the authorities, together with the technical details recorded with the submission (see the privacy policy).
Review and removal
Every submission is reviewed before it's published. Editors may decline, shorten or correct a submission, and may remove published content at any time - for example if it breaks the guidelines, becomes out of date, or someone it concerns asks.
Notices and listings
Notices marked Official are passed on from the ward office or another official body - for anything that matters, confirm the details with them directly. Community notices, events, directory listings and stories come from members of the community; we check them before publishing but can't guarantee they are accurate, and a listing is not an endorsement.
Using photos from the gallery
You're welcome to download and share gallery photos for personal, non-commercial use - please credit the contributor where a name is given. Any other use, including commercial use, needs the contributor's permission.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, by volunteers. We do our best to keep it accurate and running, but we can't promise it will always be available, complete or error-free, and we aren't responsible for losses that come from relying on it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions: contact@example.com.
